YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
AT ONE SOUL YOGA & WELLNESS CENTER
DEEPEN YOUR SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
IN-PERSON YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
Welcome to 200-hour and 300 hour yoga teacher training at One Soul Yoga & Wellness Center in Sulphur Springs, TX. One Soul is an in-person RYS (registered yoga school) through Yoga Alliance and both 200 hour and 300 hour programs meet or exceed the elevated Yoga Alliance standards.
Are you ready to nurture your personal practice, learn more about yoga and learn how you can share your skills with others? While challenging, our Yoga Alliance-certified in-person certification program is rewarding—inspiring you to not only learn more about yoga, but learn more about yourself in the process.
This course will help you deepen your knowledge of the ancient teachings while combining the needs of modern-day classes and students. We encourage our YTT students to immerse themselves into the training in order to develop confidence and bring their own voice and style to the mat.
ONE SOUL'S PHILOSOPHY:
YOGA FOR EVERYBODY FROM A TRAUMA-INFORMED PERSPECTIVE
We believe that yoga is for everybody and every BODY. We focus mostly on Hatha-based yoga from a trauma-sensitive and body-positive perspective and follow the eight limbs of yoga. Our teacher training programs are designed to equip instructors with the knowledge and tools needed to create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for all students. Our practices balance alignment, controlled breath and movement and can be modified based on a student’s skill level or needs. We believe in body-positive yoga and that any person no matter shape, size, gender or age can benefit from a yoga practice. We also encourage YTT training students to dive deeper into the world of yoga and learn more about other teaching styles and philosophies for a well-rounded yoga education.
YOU CAN DO IT!:
NOT BENDY OR STRETCHY? WE WANT YOU!
You've seen the pictures on social media of yogis holding their bodies in all kinds twists and binds. The good news is that you don't have to be "bendy" or "stretchy" to take YTT. In fact, the physical movement (asanas) of yoga is just one part of the eight limbs of yoga! You'll learn about yoga philosophy, history, meditation, breathwork and much more.
We don't believe that you have to look like the media's image of a yogi to teach or practice yoga. Anyone with an interest in yoga can take yoga teacher training. Whether you have plans to teach yoga or are simply taking this course to deepen your own knowledge or improve your own yoga practice, you are right where you are supposed to be!

200 OR 300 HOUR TEACHER TRAINING:
WHICH IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Not sure which training is right for you?
Our 200 Hour YTT is for those who have never taken or completed a yoga teacher training program. This 200-hour training serves as the foundational course, introducing aspiring teachers to the essential principles of yoga, including basic asanas (postures), pranayama (breath control), anatomy, teaching methodology, and an overview of yoga philosophy. This program is designed to equip students with the fundamental skills needed to start teaching yoga classes.
One Soul Yoga's 300-Hour YTT is an advanced yoga teacher training program meant for those who have completed a 200-hour YTT and looking to deepen and refine their practice and teaching. Your completed 200-hour certification combined with a completed 300 hour certification results in a 500-hour designation. This program is for those that want to step fully into your potential to grow as an instructor.
Select 300-hour units will be open for additional certification and open to those not enrolled in 300 hour but seeking CE credits.
